One last stop before I come home…

Another day of bliss (almost) captured by a telephone camera. No photo can do this beautiful earth justice. Just sayin.

I didn’t know the desert would change my life, nor think I’d ever go… or ever imagine I'd want to! Before finding myself here I just got on the main strip head-

ed north toward my final destination, 12 hours from home & about an hour and a half away from this infamous landmark, when a friend of mine at the time said you better turn around and GO!

Supercharged to be in California again I backtracked & headed toward Joshua Tree. And if you’ve ever been to JT you may know why. I didn't know why I was goin, but I was goin!

This same friend set me up in a hotel where I enjoyed a night to myself after being on the road for the better side of a month at that point.

This is just one picture I got that day. I continue to create (with infinite gratitude) what I call “conscious crafts” with the earth I collected that day. The memories in the soundless, still, and full-of-life energy reinvigorates me with every glance I get of these photos.
